Hitachi Solutions Opens Second Telangana based Global Development Centre in India

Hitachi Solutions India, Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd., a leading provider of global industry solutions and services based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, today announced the opening of its second Global Development Centre in Hyderabad, India within the state of Telangana. Inaugurated by Shri K. Chandrashekar Rao, Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana along with Shri K. T Rama Rao, Honorable Minister for IT & Panchayat Raj and Shri Jupally Krishna Rao, Honorable Minister for Industry this centre enhances support for Hitachi Solutions Group’s global implementation efforts and global managed services needs.

“We are excited to respond to the growing global delivery needs for Microsoft Dynamics with the opening of this additional state of the art centre in Telangana,” said Mike Gillis, President and Global Chief Operating Officer, Hitachi Solutions America. “The India delivery centres have  incubated excellent capability since the start and this expansion will supplement the growing needs of our marquee customers in North America, the UK, Asia Pacific, and Japan.”

Keiho Akiyama, Chief Executive Officer, Hitachi Solutions America said, “The India strategy has become integral for Hitachi Solutions Group and this expansion will supplement our global expansion. Delivery capacity is needed for our large-­scale growth in next few years and will require dedicated investment in capability. We continue to see India as one of the best destinations for expansion.”

“The new Global Development Centre in Hyderabad will cater to the global development, implementations and 24 hour-­7day support needs for Hitachi Solutions’ customers across America, Europe, Canada and Asia Pacific and this will result in the addition of 200 new positions in the state of Telangana. This centre will focus on technologies including Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, and related Microsoft SharePoint and SQL BI solutions,” stated Ananth Subramanian, CEO & Managing Director, and Hitachi Solutions India.

The new Global Delivery Centre will also be extending support to Hitachi Solutions India’s already successful academic initiative in Hyderabad, which partners with the engineering colleges and business schools in and around Hyderabad to provide students with the opportunity to develop Microsoft Dynamics skills and future employment opportunities at either of the Hyderabad Global Development Centres. This academic program is in alliance with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), an initiative of the Government of Telangana.

“We’re excited to partner with TASK, as it will further ensure that new engineers and business people graduating from schools in Hyderabad are industry ready from both technology and soft-­ skills perspectives, thereby improving their employability while also bringing in job-­ready resources to our Global Development Centres in Telangana,” said Ananth Subramanian.
