New timeline capitalizes on strong North American business momentum and solidifies the two companies’ joint mission of continually delivering customer excellence

IRVINE, Calif. and CHICAGO, Ill. — March 27, 2020 — Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. and Capax Global, LLC have announced today an accelerated merger of the two companies by a year. As of April 1, 2020 Capax Global will officially operate under Hitachi Solutions America as a unified brand. This move was designed to improve business integration and collaboration, streamline operations, strengthen customer engagements, and enhance the ability to deliver world-class Microsoft cloud-based solutions.

“When we first acquired Capax Global a year ago, the initial plan was for the business to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Solutions America for the next two years,” said Tom Galambos, President and COO of Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. “Because of our high levels of synergy, we’ve seen tremendous results this year. To take advantage of this momentum and better benefit our North American business, we’ve decided to move the merger up by a year.”

The Capax Global Advantage

As a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner, Capax Global specializes in building innovative cloud and data platform solutions that realize cost savings, improve data management, and solve critical business problems. The company has been recognized as a leader in Microsoft’s Azure platform across all major workloads and was honored as a finalist for the Microsoft 2017 Data Platform Partner of the Year. In addition, the company was named as one of Inc Magazine’s Best Workplaces for 2018 and maintains ratings of 4.9 stars and 99 percent approval on Glassdoor.

“We knew there were strong synergies when we started to work together as a unified super-partner, but the combination of Capax and Hitachi Solutions has turned out to be more successful than we could have imagined,” said Jerry Hawk, president of Capax Global. “The depth and breadth of capabilities and complementary offerings have exponentially increased the value we bring to customers. Speeding the merger will help us combine and optimize all of our practice areas and better position us to provide services to our customers for life.”

Strengthened Commitment to Microsoft

The Capax Global acquisition, and now operating under a unified brand, further secures Hitachi Solutions’ status as one of Microsoft’s largest and most comprehensive global partners. We are now one of the only partners who have the depth to deliver across the entire Microsoft ecosystem – from business applications to Azure data and IoT to modern workplace technologies to data science and AI.
