5 Ways to Make the Most of Your Convergence Experience

Attending Convergence can be an overwhelming experience. If you have never been, you'll be astounded by number of new technologies you will encounter.  Here are 5 quick tips to make your trip to Atlanta worthwhile.Conv

1.  Get there early.  CRMUG hosts "DAY ONE" on Sunday, April.  It will be an afternoon of networking opportunities and informational sessions from other CRM super-users and ISV partners.   It is from 1-6.  You can register here.  You do NOT need to be a member to attend, but if you are a member, please register so they can plan for your arrival.

2. Make a plan.  The show and the expo can be a bit overwhelming.  You can use the Microsoft schedule builder if you have already registered, or you can just check out the Session Catalog.

3. Let your Microsoft Partner are coming!  There are lots of sessions and your partner has the Convergence experience to steer you in the right direction.  Also, some partners have customer appreciation event around Convergence - but they won't necessarily know you're coming unless you tell them.  If you are a Customer Effective customer, we'd love to know you're coming. Please let your account executive know or shoot us an email.

4. Participate with social media.  This is fun.  It promises again to be an active Twitter commuity.  The offical Twitter tag at last year's event was #CONV10, so it's safe to assume that # CONV11 will be this year's.  There was also another tag for the Convergence parties so keep an eye out for that as well.

5. Check out the Keynotes.  I'm very excited about the keynotes this year.  It's a great lineup and you will want to get there early.  It's always standing room only.  In addition to Microsoft Corporate VP Kirill Tatarinov, is some guy named Steve Balmer and author Malcom Gladwell, best-selling author of Blink, The Tipping Point, and Outliers.  You can also help generate Steve's keynote by sending business, strategy, technology, or industry related questions here.

Haven't registered?  You can do that here.  See you in Atlanta!
